Junior Youth Camps
Camps bring all the junior youth groups in the community together. Camps could be a day or a few days long and they are filled with activities and service projects that empower and inspire the junior youth to work for the betterment of their community by using their talents and capacities. Collective activities, arts and crafts, sports and music have been components of camps. Camps also allow junior youth to create strong bonds of friendship with each other and often allow for new junior youth to begin participating in activities.

Festivals for Children, Youth and Families
Festivals are opportunities for families of children, youth and junior youth to connect with one another and learn more about the community building activities taking place in a neighbourhood or locality. From time to time, festivals may also be opportunities to celebrate special Bahá’í holy days. They often include activities, food, fellowship and lively conversation.

Institute Campaigns
From time to time, the Bahá’ís in Waterloo Region host campaigns (sometimes over a weekend, or sometimes 1-2 weeks in duration) for the study of the Ruhi Training Institute materials. These campaigns allow participants to complete the study of materials over a short period of time and quickly develop capacity to begin carrying out acts of service.
